Julie Cassar knows how to write a book that keeps you coming back for more! Ruby Blue is a magnificent story about a teenager, Ruby Blue, and her friends. Ruby is not a typical teenager because she has been able to see what no one else can, since she was five years old, Ruby can see fairies. What young girl doesn't want to be able to do things that no one else can? Between being friends with two totally awesome fairies and her goth/gay best friend Jeremy, Ruby does her best to lead a typical teenagers life, but for her, life has other plans. Now, she is not only faced with dating the hottest guy in school (Mr. Hotness to you), she is also facing a rather large, scaly, and smelly foe.
Julie's Ruby Blue is a page turner! She not only keeps you coming back for more she knows how to make her characters real. They are people that you know or, like me, remind you of yourself. Ruby Blue is spectacular and does not disappoint. My only complaint is that I don't know when they next one is coming out!
This is definitely a must read! Enjoy! I know I did!
